Privacy Policy

Information stored on your iPhone

To do its job, Koxim saves what you enter in the app. This includes:

• Trips, destinations and dates
• Packing lists, last-minute items and saved lists
• Stays, checkout times, time zones and notes
• The places you choose to log for your belongings, and your room-check progress
• Recap choices and the "leave it off next time" suggestions you accept
• Your reminder settings and app preferences

This information is stored locally on your device and is not sent to Koxim. We cannot see it, access it or recover it for you. Koxim does not sync your data between devices.

If you back up your iPhone with iCloud or a computer, iOS may include Koxim's data in that backup. Apple or your computer manages those backups under its own terms.

What we do not collect

Koxim does not collect, store or transmit personal information to us or to third parties. Koxim does not use:

• Analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDKs
• Advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking or data brokers
• Your location, contacts or microphone

Because no data leaves your device, Koxim's App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.

Permissions and device features

Photos

You can choose a cover photo for a trip. Koxim uses the system photo picker, so it only receives the photo you select, never your whole library. A resized copy is stored with that trip on your iPhone.

Notifications

Reminders before you leave and before checkout are optional. Koxim asks for permission only after you choose to enable reminders. The reminders are scheduled locally by iOS on your device and nothing is sent to a server. You can turn them off in Koxim or in the iPhone Settings app at any time.

Sharing and exports

When you export your lists or share feedback, Koxim creates the text and opens the iOS share sheet. The content goes only to the app or person you choose. Feedback text includes the Koxim and iOS version numbers so we can understand the issue. You can review or remove them before sending.

Purchases and Koxim Plus

Koxim Plus is sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes your payment. Koxim never receives your name, Apple Account details or payment information.

To unlock Plus, the app checks a signed subscription record that Apple provides on your device through StoreKit. This check happens on your iPhone and is not sent to us. Apple handles purchase information under the Apple Privacy Policy.

If you contact us

If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply and to help with your request. We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not sell or share your message, and we delete it when it is no longer needed to support you. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

This website

On koxim.app, we use Google Analytics only if you accept analytics in our cookie preferences. It helps us understand visits, page views, device and browser information, approximate location and interactions with the website. Google processes this information on our behalf and analytics cookies may be stored in your browser. Google Analytics is blocked until you accept. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. We do not send your support messages or information stored in the Koxim iPhone app to Google Analytics. You can reject analytics or withdraw your consent at any time using Cookie settings in the footer; your choice is remembered on this browser for up to 180 days. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Fonts and images are served from the site itself. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to operate and secure the service.

Your choices and deleting your data

• Delete a trip: delete it in Koxim to remove it from your iPhone.
• Delete everything: deleting the Koxim app removes all of its data from your device.
• Keep a copy: in Koxim, go to Settings › Export my lists.
• Notifications: turn reminders off in Koxim or in iPhone Settings › Notifications › Koxim.
• Photos: remove a trip's cover photo, or delete the trip.

We do not hold any of your Koxim data, so there is no account to close or server-side data to request. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence.

Children

Koxim is a general-audience travel app and is not directed to children under 13. Koxim does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Koxim handles information, we will update this page and its effective date. If a change affects what data leaves your device, we will describe it clearly in the app before it takes effect.
